Deerhoof's new album, Offend Maggie is out October 7, 2008. Being the unconventionalists that they are, instead of releasing the first single "Fresh Born" in normal audio form, they've decided to release the sheet music (below) but you can also the full blown image here. So musicians or at least people who can read music can get a sense of what it might sound like. Fans can also upload their own cover versions on Deerhoof's official website before we get the real Deerhoof version of the song. It'll be interesting to see how the covers end up.
